Nét tinh xảo của nghệ thuật gò – đúc đồng Đại bái

Làng Đại Bái thuộc huyện Gia Bình, tỉnh Bắc Ninh – một làng nổi tiếng với nghề đúc đồng hơn nghìn năm tuổi. Được hình thành từ năm 998, đến thế kỷ thứ XV trong làng đã xuất hiện các phường chuyên sản xuất từng loại mặt hàng như: Phường chuyên gò nồi đồng, phường làm mâm, phường làm ấm, phường làm chậu thau, và một phường chuyên mua bán cung cấp nguyên vật liệu và tiêu thụ hàng hoá.

Trải qua bao thăng trầm, người dân làng Đại Bái vẫn tiếp tục gìn giữ và phát triển nghề truyền thống. Đến nay, tại làng Đại Bái đã thành lập cụm công nghiệp làng nghề, thu hút hơn 31 doanh nghiệp tham gia và gần 500 hộ gia đình làm nghề đúc đồng và sản xuất các mặt hàng từ đồng truyền thống.

Các sản phẩm của làng nghề Đại Bái rất đa dạng bao gồm đồ thời cúng, tượng đồng, ấm đồng, bình đồng, sản phẩm cơ khí, tranh – chữ đồng, sản phẩm gia dụng… Dưới đôi tay tài hoa, khéo léo của các nghệ nhân, các sản phẩm làm ra không chỉ có giá trị sử dụng mà đó còn là những tác phẩm nghệ thuật giàu giá trị.
